Prayer

Clayfield Baptist Church Prayer Calendar
8th March to 14th March 2010

Meditation

  • "The whole congregation of believers was united as one – one heart, one mind!"
    (Acts 4:32, The Message)

Monday 8th

  • Praise God for unity of His people through Jesus; though diverse, yet we are one in His church.  Pray for the Spirit’s wisdom & grace to strengthen our unity & be alert to what may distract us from Him & each other.

Tuesday 9th

  • Pray for Lorna – that she can rest today after yesterday’s services for Ormond; for the peace which only the Lord can give to sustain her during the coming days; for assurance that the Lord will guide her in the decisions she will have to make about the future.

Wednesday 10th

  • Continue to pray also for others who have been bereaved recently; for Joyce, Margaret & Steven, for Sandra, for Sheilah & Brenton, for others who you may know as well.  You may feel led to give someone a call who needs a word of love & encouragement.

Thursday 11th

  • Pray for the Inside/Out chaplain at Woodford who has partial paralysis after a recent minor car accident & has been admitted to hospital to check for bleeding on the brain; pray too for his wife, who is very distressed.

Friday 12th

  • Praise for the rain bringing life & hope to people & the land where there has been drought for many years.  Pray for those who have been affected by flooding as they work to put order back into their lives.  Pray for Christian people as they share the Lord’s constant love in all circumstances.

Saturday 13th

  • Pray for the ‘Women of Purpose’ meeting at City North today; for the speakers as they share God’s Word; for each woman who hears to hear what is meant for her.  Praise for the fellowship shared between people who seek the Lord.

Sunday 14th

  • Praise for all who will meet in worship & fellowship in the Lord’s Name today – for the testimony of God’s people.  Pray for those who meet in secret or under threat to be protected & strengthened; for those who meet freely not to take this for granted.
