The Good Food Project is a not-for-profit social enterprise providing training opportunities for people who face barriers to employment. We are led by qualified Chef’s and staffed entirely by people with disadvantages - some have disabilities, mental health issues, and many have arrived in Australia as refugees. Our common ground is that we, aside from being amazing cooks, want to belong, to contribute, to work and be a part of our community.

Fun activities for all ages of families to engage with each other. Some Old Fashioned Games and
some the latest winners in 2023. Our aim to create an environment that parents, grandparents and children can interact with one another.

On the night the churches local coffee will be open
Deak's cafe is available for community projects in the local area. We provide a venue that can be used for meetings, training, crafts, or even a coffee shop, to catch up.
Deak's cafe is free to non-profit community events.
On the night We will be serving Tea and coffee to anyone, with a simply Gold coin donation, with all money raised going back into local school projects.
We will also have a range of softdrinks and
handmade international treats made by some of the local families for sample testing.
